THE STORY BEHIND THE BAND -- StevenPaulette have asked that you would stand and believe with them and search the scriptures as you read about the faith of the centurion who went to Jesus on behalf of his friend. It was the centurion's faith and trust in the Christ that made the difference. See Matthew Chapter 8.
Also when you recieve your band look at the inside of your wrist band for a special message. You may not see what is written right away, but believe us it is there! It is like FAITH... even though you can't see it with your natural eye right away, doesn't mean its not there. God defines faith in the book of Hebrews 6:1 "Now faith is the assurance that what we hope for will come to pass and the certainty that what we cannot see actually exists".
Lastly, they are believing in the promise of their savior's finished work on Calvary. 1 Peter 2:24 (NIV) “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “for by his wounds you have been HEALED." AMEN!!
