The Valentine Plunge For Paulette
On February 2nd the Annual Valentine Plunge brings together families, friends, a community that cares!
Jumping in 32 degree water in the middle of the winter is crazy . The icy plunge goes against all one natural instincts but most of those that participate go back year after year as an act of solidarity because their loved one or friend is conquering immensely greater fears every minute of every day fight ALS ( Lou Gehrig Disease).
The spirit of the day is incredibly uplifting. To see hundreds of people come together to help in a time of need is a beautiful and amazing thing. Each one of you is needed to make that day a success.
The "plunge" we're asking you to make doesn't involve freezing cold water if you don't wish to participate at the beach -- but it will make a big splash in the life of Paulette and other PALS (people with ALS).
